WOW! Rod continues to awe me with the songs he is producing for the movie. Marching Through Culpeper has changed me in ways that I will never be able to explain in words. It’s as though it has completed me in some way since I’ve learned what this community that I live in has endured over the years.

Rod has really nailed the emotion of the story and I so appreciate Virginia allowing me to be a part of this by receiving these updates and previews.

Precious song; a perfect song for Aaron. A lovely reminder, too, that God has shown us that there should never be boundaries that prevent us from helping another person, no matter how foreign to us.

What a thrill it must be for Virginia to experience the emotion these lyrics encourage for the listener. I am in awe of the whole project and have been a faithful fan of “Marching……. and of Virginia since our first meeting in 2001. I pray that God continue to bless her and inspire Virginia to greater heights for His Glory.

The lyrics are very moving and tell the story of a nation divided with peple caught between a very hard place.

I’ve had the great privilege of previewing some of the seven songs that Rod Stone has written for “Marching Through Culpeper”. Each and every song is unique and incredibly beautiful. They’ve all touched my heart deeply. I’ve loved every song that I’ve heard! A few songs like “Samaritan” have even brought tears, as they are beautifully matched with the story.

In the context of the story itself, the sensitive and heartfelt music perfectly captures the feelings that I imagine the characters would have felt in dealing with the destructive war and the emotional dilemas they faced. Only a highly sensitive musician such as Rod Stone could successfully help the movie goer envision the challenging scenes. The music is the best I’ve heard in years and are sure to become a huge success when released to the general public!
