Meet Linda Seger
I have been working on a screenplay adaptation of “Marching Through Culpeper” for several years. Due to the length of the book, the most likely scenario would be a miniseries. I’ve had the good fortune to collaborate with three talented, aspiring screenplay writers during the process. I feel the next step is to seek the expertise of a professional script consultant. During my long literary journey, I’ve learned that God always shows me the right person at the right time. I recently mailed the first three hours of my screenplay to Dr. Linda Seger, perhaps the top script consultant in the world.
Before I share Dr. Seger’s credentials, let me give you some personal insights from her recent radio interview. Her grandfather was a Lutheran minister and she is a Quaker. Her specialty is injecting faith and values into a script without being preachy. Her “bigger goal is to make better films.” She is a Colorado resident, but through her teaching and workshops in New Zealand, she hopes “to influence a country.” She measures success by “new opportunities, not money” and she “treasures helping her clients.”
Since 1981, she has consulted on over 2000 scripts, including over 40 produced feature films and about 35 produced television projects. Dr. Seger is an internationally known speaker in the area of screenwriting, having taught and lectured in over 30 countries on 6 continents. She presented the first professional screenwriting seminar in both Moscow and Bulgaria, and has trained script consultants and script editors in Germany, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Austria, and Italy. She has given seminars for studios, networks, production companies, television series, and film commissions.
She is the author of nine books, seven of which are on the subject of script writing. She has appeared in more than 60 radio and television shows, including All Things Considered, National Public Radio, Good Morning L.A., Good Morning New York, and CNN.
She is included in “The World’s Who’s Who of Women” and holds the following degrees:
BA in English Literature from the Colorado College, 1967
MA in Dramatic Arts, Northwestern University, 1968
MA in Religion and the Arts, Pacific School of Religion, 1973
ThD in Drama and Theology from The Graduate Theological Union, 1976
MA in Feminist Theology from Immaculate Heart College Center, 2000
Among her many awards is The Candlelight Award presented in 2000
…for being a light to the entertainment industry – Regents University

Thus I’m sure you can understand why I am thrilled and excited to have Linda Seger consult on the “Marching Through Culpeper” screenplay. Please join me in praying the prayer below.
PRAYER POWER:
Dear Heavenly Father, You are a mighty God. You know what we need even before we ask. Thank you for leading me to Linda Seger. Thank you for her years of experience and expertise in crafting stories, and bless her endeavors to assist new writers. Guide us as we work together to mold the “Marching Through Culpeper” project into a series that inspires, upholds Christian values, and offers characters worthy of emulation. For all things are possible when we pray in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray blessings on each one reading this and each person who has become a part of our team of intercessors. May we all walk more intimately with You on a daily basis. Shape us and mold us so that we dream big dreams that glorify You and that enlarge Your Kingdom.
In the name above all names, Jesus our Savior. Amen
